COOKERY CLASSES

Whether you just want to learn how to make pasta, pizza or create a full traditional Piemontese meal we can offer every type of Italian cookery experience for you - just contact us to discuss your requirements.

Traditional Piedmont Cooking Class

This cookery class takes place in a traditional family home with a great kitchen and wonderful hosts and chef. The class starts at 10.00 am and you will prepare several traditional dishes, including different types of fresh pasta, antipasti and desert.

We have an aperitif during the class and try some of the local wines and food products (they are an artisan producer of lots of sweet and savoury treats!). After the cookery class l'unch is served' enjoying the food you have prepared with a selection of wines including their own Nebbiolo production!

Cooking, lunch and wine tasting at a traditional farmhouse

This is a really traditional Italian cooking experience! We collect you from your accommodation at about 09.30 am and take you to a traditional farmhouse in the Monferrato region.

You prepare some traditional Piemonteses dishes in the farmhouse kitchen with the guidance of the wonderful chef. After the cookery class lunch is served with the food that you have prepared, plus a few addition homemade dishes.

The owner of the farmhouse is also a great winemaker, so you can try a variety of wines from the Monferrato region, including: White Cortese (same variety as Gavi) and Barbera D’Asti Superiore DOCG. We would drop you back at your accommodation at about 4.00 pm

Piedmont Cheese, Chocolate and Hazelnut tour

We collect you from your accommodation at about 09.30am. In the morning we travel through the beautiful UNESCO World Heritage landscapes to would visit an excellent cheese producer in the heart of the Alta Lange for a tour of the cheese making facilities and tasting of several of the delicious and unique local cheeses. Lunch is booked at a local trattoria.

Piedmont is famous for its hazelnuts and chocolate.... this is the home of Ferrero Rocher! In the afternoon we take you to an excellent chocolate and hazelnut producer where you will see the production methods and get to taste some of their deleicious produce. We would drop you back at your accommodation early evening.
